Two new faces at The Newspaper Works

With the New Year come two new additions to The Newspaper Works team.

The Newspaper Works has appointed its first in-house head of design, Camila Carmody, and a new editorial co-ordinator, Eliza Goetze.

Camila is our brand guardian and chief of all things design, balancing unique creativity with commercial requirements.

She also harbours a passion for illustration and her work has featured on numerous design showcase websites, both in Australia and internationally.

With an intuitive understanding of The Newspaper Works brand, she utilises a variety of platforms to produce truly original design concepts and precision artwork.

Eliza Goetze replaces Alen Delic who left last week to take up a position with Football Federation Victoria.

She has worn many hats over the past few years, from writing online pop culture commentary on The Vine to fangirling over her favourite bands for The Music, a brief and delicious stint of food writing, and producing current affairs community radio based at Sydney’s 2SER.

Now she is diving headfirst into print – the medium that first inspired her to write into her local newspaper, aged 12.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
