Print NZ to hold apprentice graduation ceremonies

PrintNZ, the printing industry body for New Zealand, will recognise graduates of all printing and packaging apprenticeship and training programs with a special ceremony for the first time next month.

In addition to the graduation ceremony, awards for Apprentice of the Year will also be presented.

“Our industry requires a unique skill set to produce the broad range of products we deliver,” Print NZ general manager Ruth Cobb said.

“This is a valuable opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the people and businesses that will ensure print remains a strong and vibrant industry,” Ms Cobb said.

The first of the two graduation ceremonies will be held at Christchurch’s Cardboard Cathedral on April 16. The second will take place at the Heritage Hotel on April 22.

PrintNZ has designed graduation medals to present training program and apprenticeship graduates.
