Matt Headland has been appointed NZME’s chief commercial officer after acting in the role since August.
Mr Headland joined the publisher 12 months ago as head of the agency sales team with more than 18 years of experience in media, entertainment and advertising. His role was later expanded to include the management of the strategy and planning team.
Prior to joining NZME, Mr Headland was the director of national direct sales TV, radio and digital at MediaWorks NZ, country manager at EMI music and New Zealand sales manager at MTV Australia.
His new role will be effective immediately.
