Fairfax Media has appointed Adam Warden, a corporate strategy specialist, as director of transformation, reporting directly to chief executive Greg Hywood.
Mr Warden will start on Monday, tasked with reducing costs and seeking out development opportunities across the company.
Mr Hywood said in an email to staff: “Adam brings to the role the skills and expertise that we need to drive the program and deliver results. He is a highly competent professional with a solid track record of successfully delivering transformation projects for several companies.”
Mr Warden previously was Asia-Pacific lead for Accenture’s operations strategy practice, group projects director of Willis International, and was a senior partner at Bain & Co. He has an honours degree in aeronautical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration.
