DIC Australia and New Zealand have announced changes to executive management teams, to take effect in the second half of 2014.
The company, which manufactures and sells printing inks and coatings, is a major supplier to Australian and New Zealand newspapers and employs around 210 people across both countries.
After serving as general manager of DIC New Zealand for 10 years, and working within the extended company for 38 years, Steve Parker is taking early retirement in late August 2014.
Meredith Darke, who is currently the web business manager for DIC Australia, will be promoted to general manager of DIC New Zealand and has been appointed a director of the company.
Jason Kent has been appointed to the newly created position of general manager for the offset division. Mr Kent has been with DIC Australia since November 2007 and most recently served as the commercial business manager, overseeing sheetfed and the full graphics portfolio.
In his new role, Mr Kent takes will be responsible for web heatset and coldset, as well as sheetfed and graphics portfolios.
