With around 7.5 million community newspapers distributed free around Australia each week,
chances are the readers are more diverse than you think.
There is a misconception that advertising in community newspapers isn’t as effective for younger
audiences, however research conducted in late 2011 and the first half of 2012 reveals that there are a
number of interesting opportunities available to target and motivate young readers.
