Finding the best places to eat in the international food haven of Singapore has evolved with the relaunch of The Straits Times SoShiok food app.
The app offers the “latest and best food news” and reviews on establishments from hawker stalls to fine dining, produced by The Sunday Times and The Straits Times team of food writers.
The latest version allows users to browse restaurant listings by dish or cuisine type, book tables directly via the Chope feature, and download ingredient and wine information and recipes published in SPH’s English newspapers.
Users also can create their own profile, upload their own photos and reviews to share, and earn food and drink vouchers from the SoShiok store by collecting points when using the app – for activities from reading or liking a new article to submitting a food review.
iPhone users can download the app for free at the Apple iTunes App store, and the app will be available for iPad and Android users soon.
