2014 Advertising & Marketing Awards winners’ book

The 2014 Advertising and Marketing Awards recognised the best work in advertising sales, creative services and marketing over the past year.

This year’s awards saw Fairfax Media’s Edwina Sahhar recognised as Sales Person of the Year, News Corp Australia’s Melanie Yun and Clare Catt awarded as joint winners of Designer / Creative Services Professional of the Year, Leader Community Newspapers Chris Gallichio receiving Sales Manager of the Year, Singapore Press Holding’s Johnson Goh winning Marketer of the Year, among other major category winners.

In his introduction to the winners’ book, The Newspaper Works’ CEO Mark Hollands writes that “the argument of what comes first – the advertising or the journalism – is a clichéd, circuitous debate because each is reliant on the other.”

“The 2014 entries have demonstrated an increasing sophistication in industry-wide work across print and digital platforms.”
